Daegu is the fourth largest city in Korea, located in the southeast of the Korean Peninsula. Nampyeong Moon Clan

The Nampyeong Moon Clan Village was built more than 100 years ago, by the 18th generation of Mun Ik Jeom, a person from the Goryeo Dynasty named Moon Gyeong Ho. This village has been home to the Moon generation for a long time, and was once used as a temple for Inheungsa. The building complex has beautiful architecture, coupled with large gardens and mountains as a backdrop, making this place very unique and romantic. This village is famous for its Gwanggeodang Hall as an educational place which has a collection of 10,000 books that have been passed down from generation to generation and help Korean people to get a better education.

This historical gate is located in the garden of a luxury hotel called Inter Burgo in Daegu. In autumn, the park is very beautiful because all the leaves are yellowish orange. Apart from being able to enjoy the view of the autumn trees and the beauty of the historical gate, we can also try the luxurious buffet food at the Inter Burgo hotel which offers a variety of Korean food with views of the city Daegu. It is highly recommended to come to the buffet in the afternoon before sunset to enjoy the view when the sun is there and at night when the city lights are lit up beautifully.

At the bottom there are several clothing shops and restaurants. After returning from SparkLand, we can explore along Dongseong-ro street, which is a shopping street where young people in Daegu hang out on weekends.

Makan Mandu

Mandu is not a typical Daegu food, but when I was there, I really liked mandu which I tried and ate several times. I concluded that in Daegu the chef is good at making mandu and it is a popular lunch for local people there.
