Sokcho Beach
This beach, which is approximately 10 minutes from the bus station in Sokcho, is a favorite destination in Sokcho. The white sandy beach and blue skies welcome the arrival of every guest. Apart from being able to enjoy the beauty of the beach, here you can also ride the Sokcho Eye / Ferris wheel which is located right in front of the beach. With Sokcho Eye, we can see views of Sokcho city from a height of 65 meters and with a 360 degree viewing angle.
Things that must be done on Sokcho beach are taking photos with the statues of the Hangeul letters ㅅand ㅊ, and also taking photos with the Sokcho Eye as a backdrop. Apart from that, along the beach there are several interesting objects such as a heart-shaped tree, a decorative bridge shaped like woven material, and a large bright red crab statue. My friends and I spent 30 - 1 hour relaxing on Sokcho beach.
Then because when my friend and I visited we didn't rent a car and there was no public transportation, we decided to continue our journey by setting the GPS and walking for about 1 hour to Sokcho Central Market (속초관광수산시장) for lunch.
Sokcho Central Market
This traditional market offers a variety of snacks typical of the city of Sokcho so it is very suitable to visit during lunch. However, the thing to note is that there are no chairs for eating, so you have to be prepared to eat standing party style.
Food prices here range from 5000 - 15000 won and most booths only accept cash, so don't forget to prepare cash before visiting here.

This museum has 4 zones with 16 exhibition themes that showcase light and digital art in a cool and fun way where we can interact directly with existing sophisticated media such as lights that move according to our body movements, screens that can change the visuals according to the direction of our hands, applications which can send the butterfly we choose to the screen with a picture of the sky as if the butterfly comes to life, an AI robo hand that can draw our face, and many others.

Once you've had enough of exploring Museum Apart from that, on the terrace we can take photos with this super cute mermaid statue, and take photos with the aesthetic style of the building as a background. At this cafe you can also buy merchandise such as t-shirts with pictures of the Museum x mermaid characters.
