Japan
Looking for cheap plane tickets to see the cherry blossoms? yes of course, many people in April go to Japan to enjoy the beauty of this pink flower which is scattered throughout the cities in Japan. That's what I did on my last trip to Japan. Around April 30 - 8, my family and I were in Tokyo and managed to meet cherry trees that were in full bloom. Here I want to share the excitement of enjoying cherry blossoms with you, happy reading.
One of the favorite parks for Tokyo residents to enjoy cherry blossoms is located in Shinjuku. This park is very large, in it there are various types of trees that are still green, and flowering trees of various colors and shapes. The entrance ticket only costs 500 yen, although the queue to enter is long, it is orderly and moves quickly.
What to prepare for this trip :
Planning what clothes to wear for taking photos, because cherry blossoms are pale pink, I suggest you wear clothes in shades of pink, white, cream, or light blue to harmonize with the background color of the cherry trees and blossoms.
Buy Japanese food such as mochi, onigiri, or other heavy food to bring into the park, because after a long walk around the park and taking photos, it will be fun if you can have a picnic and enjoy your lunch.
Prepare a spare battery / power bank for your cellphone or bring a spare camera, because here you will take lots of photos until you are satisfied, don't let your camera or cellphone battery run out and die.
Activity recommendation :
Look for a spot and take a photo with a cherry blossom tree in full bloom without anyone else entering the photo frame. Usually the most beautiful trees are characterized by lots of people queuing in an orderly manner to take photos, but if you are careful there will definitely be hidden spots that are quiet but very beautiful to photograph.
Sit on a mat or find a chair and eat typical Japanese food, while enjoying the garden beautiful view.
Look for the Starbucks cafe in the park and go behind the Starbucks, there you can enjoy the most beautiful and exclusive view in Shinjuku-Gyoen. Disclaimer in the afternoon when I arrived, there were so many people queuing that I ran out and couldn't buy coffee. For those who like drinks, it might be better to bring them from outside.
What not to do inside the garden :
Holding flowers while taking photos or leaning on them too close can cause the flower petals to fall or be damaged. This may seem trivial, but for Japanese people it is very important to look after the cherry blossoms.
Don't throw rubbish carelessly, this may be familiar because there are no rubbish bins provided, just carry the rubbish you have in your bag until you find a rubbish bin.
